Made Specific at 3daysofdesign 2025 – Design, Dialogue & DIY.

Made Specific was proud to once again be part of 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen – Denmark’s leading design festival that brings together creative minds from around the world. This year, we returned to the beautiful Lindencrone Palace, whose historic architecture provided the perfect setting for what turned out to be an inspiring, energetic, and truly successful exhibition.

For the 2025 edition, our focus was on presenting our Living Library concept – a dynamic exhibition format that encourages dialogue, experimentation, and interaction across disciplines. Instead of static displays, we curated a space where design could be touched, tested, and talked about.

One of the main highlights was our hands-on DIY lamp workshop. Guests were invited to weave their own unique lampshade using colorful leftover yarns, wrapping them around a stainless steel frame. The concept – first introduced at CSI in Miami – once again received overwhelmingly positive feedback. People loved engaging directly with the materials and process, creating something tactile and personal in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

And the experience didn’t end with the design. In the sunny courtyard of the palace, we created a space for guests to pause and connect. Rørt served their signature open-faced sandwiches, pairing perfectly with selected wines and refreshments that kept the conversations flowing long into the afternoon.

The response throughout the event exceeded all expectations. From curious passersby to seasoned industry professionals, the feedback was clear: the combination of thoughtful design, interactivity, and hospitality made our presence at 3daysofdesign 2025 something special.

For us at Made Specific, this year’s festival reaffirmed the importance of creating spaces where people don’t just see design – they feel it, shape it, and take part in it. We look forward to continuing this journey, and to more inspiring collaborations in the future.
